Honoring Dave & Nellie Jarvis: A Legacy of Leadership at RTLC
Imagining Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp without Dave and Nellie Jarvis is something we have never conceived of. Dave has been the Executive Director for 37 years. And we all know, Nellie is the person who keeps Dave going, in addition to running Intro camp and writing the day camp bible study. As RTLC Alumni, we have all been impacted in our faith, confidence, career path, etc. in some way by our interactions with both of these wonderful people. To celebrate their many summers at camp and years of service, we want to give them a memorable gift from the RTLC Staff Alumni.
Winnebago Minnie Drop Travel Trailer
Over a year ago, Leah suggested that if we wanted to organize something of this caliber (and if Dave ever retired), it would be really cool to buy Dave and Nellie a tear drop camper. So after discussing with numerous alumni, that is what we decided on. Our Goal is to raise $32,000 to purchase and gift a new trailer to Dave and Nellie from the RTLC Alumni. Any funds raised above and beyond the cost of the trailer will go directly to Dave and Nellie for their upcoming trip to Kilimanjaro.
While there is absolutely no obligation to contribute, any donation, big or small, would be incredibly appreciated and will help us make Dave and Nellie’s retirement truly special.
Please click here to make your contribution by December 1st, 2025 so we can ensure the gift is ready in time for the Land Exchange and Retirement celebration on January 17th, 2026.
